Day 10

Today's outfit is a brown velour hoodie with adorable embroidered flowers and vertical pink and brown ruffles. She is wearing a dark pink and white plaid romper underneath it. The matching velour pants have layers of ruffles on the back and pink thread at the bottom cuffs and seam. They are long and cozy, though they're riding up a bit in this picture. The brown color with pink looks especially nice with Finley's dark hair!

Day 9

Finley was wearing her very cute Special Traveling Outfit this morning, the outfit she wore when she traveled to Santa Barbara. The one she had to get changed out of at Sea-Tac Airport. This morning, again, she had to be changed out of it before I could take her Day 9 picture. She wore a sweet and cozy pink and off white jacket and pants set for her outing today, and then put this cute sleeper on after her bath. It has gray polka dots and the feet are like ballet slippers. This adorable sleeper was given to her by her Grandma Julie when she came to meet her in October.

Day 8

Bringing a bit of Spring to a dreary Winter day was Finley in her long lavender frock. It has very subtle pinstripes in light sky blue and off-white embroidered flowers on the bottom. To battle the cool temps for her grocery store outing, she wore an Ivory ribbed onesie and Ivory footed pants, perfect for slipping cozy boots over. The first thing her dad said when he got home was, "You look so pretty, Finley!" Finley says being cute is all in a day's work.

Day 7

Today's outfit is a tunic with matching leggings, in shades of dark and light plum. The detail on the pieces makes it unique. The shoulders of the tunic have an adorable exaggerated ruffle and the front of it has three fabric bows in the same pattern as the leggings. The back of the leggings have three layers of striped ruffles. The top is soft fleece with warm and cozy polar fleece on the inside. The leggings are cotton with a bit of stretch. She will wear footwear when we leave the house, and because of this she is wearing pink and white comfy socks because they stay on.

Day 6

This morning, Finley wore this outfit to church. It is a purple velvet dress with Ivory and pink embroidery on the bottom and matching shoes. Because it is in the 30's here, she wore an Ivory ribbed longsleeve onesie and Ivory tights with a ruffle butt underneath her dress. I knew she would probably sleep while at church so today she wore just her beautiful hair to top off her outfit, no hats or bows. After church she changed into a pretty patterned sleeper with a collar, but unfortunately the outfit was not on long enough to take a picture. She is sorry for any inconvenience.

Day 5

Today, Finley is wearing a very soft velour long sleeved blouse with super cute light animal print, a collar, and a pink bow accent. Her pants are my favorite shade of ballet pink and thickly quilted. Though snug in the waist, they are long on her, so until she chooses her shoes for the day, they are cuffed. Being that it is Saturday, today's outfit is ready to go out in a bit with Daddy and Mama to find some adventure!

Day 4

Finley was feeling sassy for her Friday night pizza date with Daddy and Mama, so she wore this animaltastic outfit. The hot pink velour top paired with light grey cheetah print leggings was the perfect match for her Little Maven Ivory fur boots. She topped off her outfit with a hot pink headband/gray flower combo. Definitely a baby head turner.

Day 3

Finley wore a few different outfits today, but eventually changed into this ensemble. It's a long sleeved patchwork style T that has the word "Little" embroidered on one side. She wore it with soft leggings that have gray and white tiny stripes, given to her by Grandma, Michael's mom, when she visited us in October. On Finley's feet are green and white polka dotted slippers with rattles, of which one has been kicked off. A good outfit for a day spent at home, with aspirations of going out that never quite took off. Tomorrow's another day!

Day 2

Today's outfit was chosen by Michael. It's the pink/purple version of yesterday's ensemble. Please note the short sleeves over long sleeves style repeated here and see the part of yesterday's post about Michael liking that style. The onesie says, fittingly, "Cute as a Cupcake." Today's pants are a hot pink legging with ruffle trim at the ankle. Socks are white with a shoe look pattern in a fruit print. It's the perfect outfit to look cute in while hanging out at home waiting for the ice to thaw.

Welcome to Finley's Challenge!

It started with pants. I was trying to pick an outfit for Finley this morning and was feeling indecisive. I thought about how I've been putting her in the same things lately and wanted to do something different. So I laid out all the pants. I counted them, but no way am I going to share the number here. Forget it. I wrote to my friend to joke about how many pants Finley has and she joked that I should start a blog about it. Thanks. Soooooo, welcome to Finley's 30 day outfit challenge. Today's outfit is a onesie with long sleeves in the "short sleeves over long sleeves" style which Michael is a huge fan of. She is wearing it with the matching cozy fleece pants, both given to her by her Grammy (my mom) for Christmas. The sneaker socks were my niece's and were sent to Finley by my sister in law, Susanne. Cute AND they stay on!
